New TSC Budgeting Tools Available

A new budgeting tool for software implementation, developed for the Advanced Solution Summit by TSC Project Manager Doug Yeager, is now available on www.cftech.org. Pick your product, the degree of change required in your organization, your asset size and other variables to compute a three-year budget for technology.

TSC Funds MicroEdge/AST Connection for Seamless

The TSC has approved a joint proposal for $250,000 from AST and MicroEdge to support development of a data bridge for seamless processing. This contract is not to support a development but rather to catalyze a solution provided by these providers according to product needs and timelines identified by them (as distinct from a contract driven by TSC business requirements and managed by the TSC.) The Seamless Data Bridge is expected to be ready for shipment to foundations mid-March, 2006.

Work of Web Presence and Accountability Subcommittees Complete

In October and November, members of the Web Presence and Accountability Subcommittees viewed and provided formal contractual feedback to TSC-funded development by Neulogic for VisionMgr and B2P Commerce Corporation for ImpactMgr. With this, the work of these two Subcommittees has come to a close.

The Technology Initiative is a series of integrated and prioritized development activities to build community foundation technology readiness, capacity and infrastructure over the next three years.

These updates are part of a communications effort to keep colleagues in the field informed about the TSC's work. Information in these documents may be freely distributed by TSC members providing that: 1) precise language in the updates is used (for clarity and consistency); 2) the TSC attribution language (provided to the left) is included; and 3) readers are referred to source documents on the COF or CFA Web sites.
