Seamless Processing Early Adopters to Document "Lessons Learning"
Early adopters continue their efforts to refine the deployment of seamless processing in partnership with AST Trust. Early indications are that this has been a complex product to implement due to a host of issues that are internal (business processes and FIMS/FP protocols), external (data availability/reliability from custodians), and provider related (absorbing and balancing with the foundation's data). The TSC will be continuing to look for ways to simplify the process. During its December meeting, the Subcommittee began making plans to hold an in-person meeting intended to capture and convey lessons being learned which can benefit "fast followers."
TSC Resources Available on CFTech
Work continues on CFTech, the official Website of the Technology Steering Committee. Recently added content on www.cftech.org includes white papers from the Accountability and Web Presence Subcommittees, the Data Atlas for the Community Foundation Roadmap, new budgeting tools and the Barrington report comparing integrated solutions that responded to the RFI conducted by the Integrated Solutions Subcommittee.
