Field-Wide Consensus Reached on Technology Direction

In November 2002, the Technology Steering Committee (TSC) approved "Comprehensive Functional Requirements for Community Foundations."  Better known as the Technology Roadmap, this document defines functional requirements for a competitive community foundation infrastructure and management information system.

This section includes background information on the functional requirements that undergird the Technology Roadmap, including open architecture and an Internet-based environment.

To learn more about the Technology Steering Committee's plan to make enhancements to the field's infrastructure that will have the most impact in enhancing services to donors, improving operations and positioning the field to compete in a changing marketplace, see section in the left navigation bar on the Technology Initiative.
