This section of CFTech is dedicated to successful planning and implementation of customized technology roadmap software solutions. Therefore, it has nothing to do with software. Instead, the resources and information in this section will deal with the organizational issues around preparing, budgeting and implementing the software solutions that community foundations choose to fulfill their own technology roadmaps.

Early Adopters Share Lessons
On October 16-17, 2006, representatives from 18 foundations gathered in Dallas for an Early Adopter Summit sponsored by the Technology Steering Committee (TSC) of the Technology Initiative. Early in the summit, participants were asked to give an assessment of their organization’s current status with regard to adopting and implementing technology solutions to meet their current and future business needs.
